new product offering that provides a technical upgrade and lowers the cost
for customers moving from Windows 95 and Windows 98. There are three
choices depending on whether you are doing a clean installation or whether you
are upgrading over an older version of Windows. The Windows 2000 Professional
Product Upgrade is priced at a significant savings with an estimated retail
price of $219.

Qualification for Free Upgrade
When Windows 2000 becomes available, customers who are enrolled in volume licensing
Upgrade Advantage/Maintenance or included as part of an Enterprise Agreement
will be eligible to receive upgrades to the equivalent Windows 2000 product for
no additional charge. The following table shows Upgrade Advantage/Maintenance
coverage to its corresponding free product upgrades.
